Process_Description:
The Onondaga County Sanitary District shapefile originally was digitized in 1996 from a map titled "Public Wastewater Treatment System Generalized Map" that was drafted by Syracuse-Onondaga County Planning Agency staff in 1992. The source map was created at a scale of 1" = 4,000'. The data has since been geographically adjusted to coincide with visible features from the 2006 New York State Digital Orthoimagery. The coverage was edited in 2001, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 to include boundary expansions.
