Results

 

After using any of the selection tools, results will appear on the Results tab of the Contents Panel, automatically. This tab has a variety of options and sub-tools that work with the selected set of features.

 

Near the top of the tab, the name of the layer containing selected features and the number of selected records is displayed. Below that is a search option to locate a specific field within the attribute table. This is useful when the layer contains numerous fields, as it eliminates the need to scroll through the entire attribute table. Each search returns a new set of results, and previous sets can be viewed using the arrow buttons. There is also a Clear button to clear the selected set of records.

 

 

Each selected record is shown in the results table. Click on a field heading to sort the records in ascending or descending order. Optionally, hover the mouse over the field name and click the button with three vertical lines to filter the results based on an attribute value. Check the Select boxes to highlight and zoom to specific features. Use an action button to perform a number of sub-tasks. Refer to Action tools for additional information. Scroll down through the records using the side scroll bar to the right.  

 

 

Near the bottom of the Results tab, three additional tools are shown Buffer, CSV Export and Mailing Labels. More information on these tools can be found on their respective help topics:
